Funeral services for Mr. Edward McDaniel, 75, of Jigger LA, will be held at Wisner Assembly of God on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Lanny Head and Rev. Rolland Kratzer officiating. Interment will follow at King's Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. McDaniel was born May 10, 1932 in Wisner, LA and passed away Monday August 6, 2007 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He was a resident of Jigger, a retired heavy equipment operator, and a member of the Wisner Assembly Of God.
He was preceded in death by: 1st wife-Annie Bell McDaniel, Father-Leon McDaniel, Mother-Emma (King) McDaniel, Brother-George McDaniel, and Sister-Bonnie Allbritton.
Survivors include: Wife-Claudine Townsend McDaniel of Jigger, La.; 4 Daughters-Carolyn Gallagher, Marilyn Boone, Joan Barton all of Wisner, La., and Connie Williams of Junction City, Ark.; Son-Chad Edward McDaniel of Wisner, La.; He was also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The Pallbearers will be Jeffery Gallagher, Tron Barton, Ben Boone, Scotty Boone, George Williams, and Ryan McDaniel.
The Honorary Pallbearers will be D. J. Fussell and Christopher Hunt.
