Janice S. Hamilton was born September 24, 1951 in Lamar, Missouri, one of two children to Bob and Audrey (Mullins) Brooks. She entered into rest on April 6, 2020 at the age of 68. Janice owned and operated the former Neosho Candy House. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing Bingo and watching Nancy Grace on television. She is survived by two children, Sindie Sidney, and Bobby Hamilton, of Neosho; four grandchildren, Michele Hamilton, Brittany Cauble, Austin Sidney, and Aaron Sidney; and one brother, Jimmy Brooks, of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents. Viewing will be Thursday, April 9 from 12 pm until 5 pm, and Friday, April 10 from 9 am until 5 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 10 am at the Shiloh Cemetery near Liberal, MO. Reverend Ralph Walker will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Janice may made to the National Kidney Foundation, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
SPECIAL NOTE: Mandates from CDC and the State of Missouri have strongly advised against organized gatherings in order to abide by social distancing protocols. Family and friends are welcome to the funeral home for viewing on Thursday from noon until 5 pm and Friday, 9am to 5 pm. However, only ten people are allowed in our facility at one time.
