Sidney Harmon Green, 84, passed away April 6th, 2020 at his home in Ada, Oklahoma.
Sidney was born September 5th, 1935 in Sayre, OK to Tommy Green and Alice McDaniel Green.
He attended school in Merritt, OK. Sid moved to Lindsay, OK. He met Annita Hughes there. She was the love of his life. They were married July 26, 1954. They had almost 66 precious years together.
God blessed Sid and Annita with their children Karen and Randy. Later they were blessed with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sid was an avid fisherman, a pro at net-throwing, woodworker, and grand kid spoiler. He always had a smile and was always whistling a happy tune.
Sid is survived by his wife Annita of the home, daughter Karen Howry and husband Steve of Ada, son Randy Green and wife Raneè of Chickasha, OK. Granddaughters Shawna Brecheen and husband Dustin, Stephanie Feazle and husband Ryan, Sheldon Johnson and husband Justin. Great grandchildren Gavin and Seth Brecheen, Nolan and McKinley Feazle, Rashel and Tori Johnson. Sister Leona Davis and Leon of Tye, TX, sister Karen Musgrave of Lewisville, TX, brother Joe Green, and brother Robert Green of Dallas, TX., and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tommy and Alice, father and mother in law Sidney and Anna Hughes, infant grandson Bradley Green, brother Ray Green and his wife Bobbie, sister Louise Davis and her husband Alvie, and sister Ann Patterson and her husband Danny.
Graveside services will be officiated by Rusty Fuller, David Gray, and Don Sayre on Thursday April 9, 2020 at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sidney's grandchildren and great grandchildren.
