He was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Ritzville, Wash., to Albert and Carrie Lage Nauditt. He was raised in Ritzville and graduated from Ritzville HIgh School.

He then went to the Tri-Cities area and sold machinery. He returned to Ritzville and farmed for several years before moving to Chewelah, Wash., where he farmed until 1969.

He moved to Spokane, where he worked for Allis-Chalmers, and later moved to Hayden Lake where he continured to sell farm machinery until opening his own business, H&L Machinery in Couer d'Alene in 1982. He served in Gen. Douglas MacArthur's honor guard in occupied Japan.

He was a member of Christ The KIing Lutheran Church, Couer d'Alene.

He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by 1 daughter and one son. His step-daughter died in 2010.
