Paul Lowell Newton Sr. retired with 20 years of service in the Armed Forces as a helicopter pilot. He retired a second time from the U.S. Postal service. He served as a member of the Texas Rural Letter Carriers State board. He was still an active member of the Texas Rural Letter Carriers Association. He was a beloved Father and Husband and has retired to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ernest Lowell Newton and Ida Lorene Newton, and his brother Joseph L. Newton.

He is survived by his wife Gail Newton, his brother Ernest L. Newton, sister Patricia L. Witte and her husband Ronnie. He leaves behind Paul Jr. And wife Jedith Newton, Kenneth and wife Susan Newton, and Martie and husband Brady Bohannon. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Burial is Friday April 10, 2020 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
