Emma Jean Lewis, 89, of Nashville died Sunday April 5, 2020 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born December 11, 1930 in Cook County to the late Western Columbus Powers and the late Toye Ethel Weeks. She was a retired CNA with Adel Convalescent Care and a member of Nashville United Methodist Church where she was very faithful in her individual card ministry to remember those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries or those suffering illness or grief. She was the widow of George H. Flowers who died in 1966 and Albert R. Lewis who died in 1995. She was also preceded in death by a son: Don Flowers who died in 2011; two brothers: Carlton Powers and Chris Powers; three sisters: Essie Mae Tucker, Margaret Flowers and Hilda Holton.

She is survived by a daughter: Nelda (Curtis) Davis of Alapaha; two grandsons: Craig (Rebecca) Davis and Clay (Andrea) Davis both of Alapaha; granddaughter: Kelly (Sean) Fleming of Chicago, IL; sister: Eva Nell (Sherwood) King of Nashville; sister-in-law: Julia Powers of Cassatt, SC; four great grandchildren: Chance Davis, Sawyer Davis, Sarah Forehand and Key Forehand.

A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday April 8, 2020 in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Addington and Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Nashville United Methodist Church or the church of your choosing.
