Amos Allen Langston age 90 of Graysville went to be with his Lord early Sunday morning, April 5, 2020 at his home. Allen was born in Graysville on February 22, 1930 the son of the late Homer and Edna (Goins) Langston. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Tony Karnes and his brother Carson Langston.

Allen was a life long resident of Graysville where he was a beekeeper and enjoyed being outside and working in his garden. He was a member of the Graysville Church of God and then the Dayton Church of God. He taught Sunday school for many years and loved going to church. Allen retired from American Mfg Company in Chattanooga.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Meda (Sims) Langston of Graysville, his son, Randy Langston of Graysville and his two daughters, Kathy (Tony) Karnes of Graysville and Sandra Langston Lower of Murfreesboro. Allen is also survived by seven grandchildren, Christian Allen Langston of Rockwood, Jessica Langston and Lacey Langston both of Panama City, FL, Angela Karnes of Hixson, Julie Barger and Shea (Jody) Barger both of Murfreesboro and Brooke (Justin) Sanderlin of Dayton.
Allen is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.

Family only Graveside Funeral Services for Allen will be held Thursday April 9, 2020 at Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
