William Vernail Bunch passed away April 6, 2020. He was born October 26, 1945 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Liget and Leguria Bunch.

William was baptized at an early age after accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in California. He was a member of God's House of Prayer and Praise in Spiro Oklahoma. He attended the Spiro Public Schools and was a graduate of Douglas High School. After high school, he joined the Army and spent eight years serving our country. Upon his return, he became a carpenter and worked many years in the construction industry.

William truly cherished his beautiful union of fifty-four years with Billie Grisby Bunch. They lived in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma. Four children were born to this union. Billie proclaims, "William was the best husband a woman could have and a father who always made magic happen for his family."

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, William V. Bunch, Jr.; and daughter, Felicia G. Bunch.

Survivors: wife, Billie Bunch of Spiro, OK; son Travis Bunch (Destiny) of Spiro, OK; daughter, Audrey Bunch of Spiro, OK; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Isaiah Smith, Aaron Smith, Solomon Smith, Tyair Bunch, Tionne Bunch, Brookley Neely and Rayden Neely; a gerat-grand daughter, Maya R. Smith; brothers, Vernon Bunch (Betty) of Spiro, OK, George Bunch (Carol), of Spiro, OK, Christopher Bunch (Brenda) of Muskogee, OK and Donald Bunch (Joann) of Sprio, OK; sisters, Maggie Lee, Mable Lee (Jimmy) and Cathy Mack (Phillip) all of Spiro, OK; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
