He was born July 12, 1991, in Carrollton to Ward Campbell and Rita Brown Underwood.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Olin Brown and Linda (Chesser) Brown Wright, the latter of whom passed away just two days prior to Andrew.
Andrew was a member of the Bremen High School Class of 2009. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the service, he achieved the rank of Lance Corporal and was awarded the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He served proudly for his country overseas, achieving an Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 1 Star for his service. Andrew discharged from the service in 2012, and returned home to be with his family, whom he loved above all else.
He is survived by his mother, Rita Underwood, of Carrollton, GA; his father and stepmother, Ward and Angie Campbell, of Tallapoosa, GA; a daughter, Raegan Campbell and fiancé, Krysten Garner, both of Buchanan, GA; a sister, Claire Campbell, of Tallapoosa, GA; a step-sister, Briana Underwood, of Bremen, GA; and paternal grandparents, Phil Campbell and Gerry Gail Campbell, of Tallapoosa.
A private visitation and graveside service will be held at Hollywood Cemetery in Tallapoosa with date and times to follow.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Cason Campbell, Dustin Campbell, Michael Heaton, and Trevor Garner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Evans, Jake Wilson, and Cody Bennett.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we kindly ask that the visitation and graveside service be reserved for family only.
