CARENCRO - Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at an 11 a.m. word service in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Diane "Decome" Bruno, age 56, the former Diane Marie McCoy, who passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 7:05 a.m. at her residence in Carencro. Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. The Rev. Jamie Marshall, pastor of Millennium Neighborhood Church, will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Bruno was a native and lifelong resident of Carencro. She was a manager at Evangeline Downs in Carencro for fifteen years. She enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking her coffee waving to everyone who passed by. Mrs. Bruno helped others in anyway that she could and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, C.J. Bruno of Carencro; her father, Arthur McCoy, Sr.; one son, James Bruno and his fiancee, Monica Summers; one daughter, Clarissa Harvey and her husband, Trevor, all of Carencro; one grandchild, Kyron Harvey; two step grandchildren, Damani Journet and Dymon Summers; six brothers, Johnny McCoy, and his fiancee, Tephanie, of Lafayette, Martin McCoy and his fiancee, Paulette, of Lake Charles, Moses McCoy and his wife, Latoya, of Port Neches, TX, David McCoy and his companion, Stephanie, .Gabriel McCoy and Arthur McCoy, Jr. and his wife, Renee, of Carencro; and five sisters, Virginia Henry and her husband, Charles, of Port Arthur, TX, Amy Marshall and her husband, Jamie, of Harrisburg, PA, Sandra Comeaux, and her husband, Dwayne, of Lafayette, Mary Woods and her husband, Sonny and Tammy McCoy both of Carencro.

She was preceded in death by her mother, the former Virginia Hebert; and one brother, Tony McCoy.
