Thomas R. Davidson, 77, of Middletown, MO, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 5, 2020 at his home with loved ones near.

Tom was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 4, 1943, the son of the late Harry and Juanita (Duvel) Davidson. Tom grew up in Olney, Missouri where he graduated from Silex High School. He then went on to graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1966 where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture and a teaching certificate in chemistry.

He was the husband of Lillian (Spires) Davidson. They were childhood sweethearts and united in marriage on June 23, 1964. They enjoyed over 55 years of blessed marriage.

Tom started his career as a chemistry teacher and then became a farmer, where he raised and showed Duroc hogs, and row cropped. He enjoyed the farm, loved family gatherings, and spending time with his children and grandchildren at Papa’s playground. He and his wife took many trips across the United States and Canada on their Honda Goldwing motorcycle. A favorite being a 40th anniversary trip to Nova Scotia, Canada.

The legacy he leaves behind is the love of the Lord he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He touched many other lives with his passion for witnessing and serving our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Bellflower Baptist Church, Road Riders for Jesus, and the Honda Goldwing Association.

Tom is survived by his wife Lillian Davidson, of the home; by a daughter, Tammy Robinson & husband Eddie of Wellsville and children Lindsey, Will, Katelyn, Lauren, and Annie; a son, Curt Davidson & wife Stephanie of Wentzville and children Merek, Morgan, Isabelle, Gracelynn, Wyatt, Reece, and Matthew; a son, Scott Davidson & wife Andrea of Owensville and children Ella and Eli; and a daughter, Amanda Engemann & husband Dan of Hermann and children Blake, Atalie, and Haley.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Gary and his father and mother-in-law, J.T. and Leona Spires.

Private graveside services will be held at Bellflower Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
