Mrs. Jacqueline Lambert Greene, age 76, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday morning, April 6, 2020 at Williamson Medical Center.

Born on December 14, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late Roland Lambert and the late Amzel Grimes Lambert.

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

Jacqueline Greene entered this world with an adventurous spirit, she thrived on meeting all challenges set before her. She was passionate not only for her love of family and friends, but to never stop learning new things, new places, and new people. She was the essence of compassion, she never met a stranger, and made every one around her feel at ease, she so loved learning someone’s story. Her laugh was infectious, and often, soaking up all life had to offer with an enthusiasm second to none. She was one of a kind and to know her was to love her, her passing has left a void that will never be filled.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa Greene of Tennessee, Nicole (Robbie) Erwin of Tennessee; brother, Bill (Barbara) Lambert of Indiana; and her grandchildren Zoë Greene and Maximus Erwin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Lambert, Jr.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Heritage funeral home will be assisting the family.
