Obituary for Sara "Weebee" Davis
Weebee Sara E. Davis, age 77, a New Castle resident, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at Henry Community Health.
She was born March 14, 1943 in New Castle, IN. A daughter of the late John A.and Sarah Choate Bell.
She was a life long resident of New Castle and a graduate of Walter P. Chrysler High School. Weebee was a homemaker and enjoyed family activities. She also enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, journaling, arts and crafts and designing seasonal floral arrangements. Weebee also enjoyed fishing, camping and always had “Smarties” Candies on hand to share with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish her loving memory 2 children Cindy Wakeman (husband Fred) Ft. Wayne, IN, Donnie Young (wife Kami) Fishers, IN. 9 grandchildren Kelli (husband Aaron) Charles, Thor (wife Hana) Pope, Amber (husband Kelab Clark) Ledford, Sara (husband Zach) Isaacson, Hannah Young, Emily Pope, Kaylee Young, Madison Young, Carson Young, 9 great grandchildren McKinzie, DJ, Karmen, Lilly, Oak Lynn, Marley, Raphael, Teagan, and baby Pope who is on the way. 2 sisters Maribeth Cook and Lynn Sumpter. 1 brother Joe Bell.
Also several nieces, nephews and cousins. 2 step children Toni Davis Lowe (husband Gene) of New Castle, Mike Davis of New Castle.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert Davis, one daughter Connie Jean Brown and several siblings.
Services will be private and there will be no visitation. A public Celebration of Life will be announced in the Courier Times at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Macer-Hall Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home.
