Peggy Jane Brewer, age 86, of Hammondsport, NY, died Feb 21, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

She was born June 5, 1928 in Thurston, NY the daughter of the late James and Violet (Beebe) Gilbert.

Survived by sons, Carl (Vera) Brewer Jr. of Naples, NY and Kelvin Brewer of Mesa, AZ; daughters, Gloria (Bob) Moffit of Salisbury, NC and Linda Cornish of Bath, 8 grandchildren, 12 g-grandchildren and 2 g-g-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Robinson, Virginia Lyons, Irene Applebee, Beverly (Hugh) Stafford of Bath, and Sharon (Glen) Boehl of Garland, TX; brothers, Robert (Betty Jean) Gilbert of Cameron Mills and Kenneth (Betty Jean) Gilbert of Bath.

She was predeceased by husband Carl Brewer Sr., sister Bernice Brady, brothers Edward Gilbert, Lawrence Gilbert and James Gilbert Jr.

She worked, in the vineyards, berry fields, at Westinghouse and she was a waitress at various diners.
