He served as an Engineer Officer aboard the Titanic.∼Arthur Ward served his apprenticeship with Mitchell Bros. of Romsey, Hampshire and J.I. Thornycroft & Co. of Southampton. In 1907 he went to sea in the Siamese gunboat, Suira Monthon.
He joined the White Star in 1908 and served on a number of ships, including the Olympic, prior to joining Titanic as Junior Assistant 4th. Engineer.
He was lost with the sinking of the Titanic, his body was never recovered.
