Amadina Adeline Leal, 91, of Los Banos, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Memorial Hospital Los Banos on Monday, February 12, 2018. She was born of the late Cirillo and Rosina Rebechi Sordi on July 13, 1926 in Dos Palos, California.
The hospital was familiar to Amadina as she worked there from 1967 to 1992 in the housekeeping department. At the end of her employment she was in charge of ordering and maintaining linen for all departments and bookwork for her department.
She enjoyed needlepoint, crochet and word puzzles. Amadina loved family get togethers and taking 100’s of family photos. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Amadina is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 64 years, Frank Leal and siblings, Amadeo, Angie and Teresa.
She is survived by her children, Glen {Ann} Gray, Richard {Beth} Gray, Jeanie {Richard} Martin and David Leal, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many family and friends.
The family will like to thank the Los Banos Nursing and Rehab Center and Memorial Hospital and their staff for the great care given to our mother.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by The Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial at the Los Banos Cemetery District. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Los Banos.
