Jean Nunn Dawson, 78, passed away on April 3, 2020 in Durham, N.C. She was born in Danville, on March 17, 1942, the daughter of Buford William Nunn and Myrtle Davis Nunn. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Robin Denise Cannon. Jean was a graduate of George Washington High School and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son, Stephen Bryant Cannon (Susie); a grandson, Joshua Cannon; a brother, John W. Nunn. Burial will be at Schoolfield Cemetery.
