Warren "Booney" House Jr., 62, husband of Dorothy Walker House, died Sept. 27, 2004, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born July 23, 1942, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Warren House Sr. and Minnie Sue Clark House. Mr. House attended Lincoln High School. In his early years, he was employed by Georgia Pacific until his health failed. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors besides his wife include two daughters, Adrienna F. House and Minister Cynthia House (Jimmie) Golden, both of Sumter; one son, Warren House III (Victoria Sinkler) of Sumter; one sister, Georgiamae Abrams, and one brother, Sammie Lee (Ida) Gregg, both of Sumter; 10 grandchildren, Jimmie Golden Jr., Lamoshia L. Jackson, Jokettia R. Jackson, Marcellous Sumpter, Breanna Q. Jackson, Kristopher W. House, Nicole Golden, Jasmine Carter, Dawaun A. House and Alexa Blair, all of Sumter; one great-grandchild, Travion T. Jackson; two brothers-in-law, Willie Walker Jr. and James (Josephine) Walker, both of Sumter; one devoted nephew, Staff Sgt. Antwaun (Kristy) G. Abrams of Columbus, Miss.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Minnie Lee Steele and Annie Mae Watson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. L.W. Barnes, pastor, assisted by Co-Pastor E.G. Barnes, Pastor Stanley E. Hayes, Ministers A. Hill, L. Frances and James Goodman. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 109 Brand St., Sumter.

Job's Mortuary Inc. of Sumter is in charge of arrangements.
