He was born Oct. 12, 1970, in Peoria to William Dwain and Joyce Elaine Cochran Holman.
Surviving are his parents of Metamora; three brothers, Rick of Metamora, Steve of Eureka and Eric of Washington, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Julie Schultz of Germantown Hills and Jennifer Holman of Kenosha, Wis.
He was a computer operator for Columbia Rug & Carpets. He attended Grace Presbyterian Church and was a member of the YMCA, both in Peoria.He was also a member of the Heart of Illinois Head Injuries Support Group and was named the Survivor of the Year by the group.
He did volunteer work at Methodist Medical Center and Saint Francis Medical Center. He spoke at St. Francis and at area high schools about safety programs and accident prevention measures.
