Lindsey Leon Foster, 73 , passed away on March 30, 2020 at his residence. He was the son of the Reverend William Foster and Minnie B. Williamson Foster. Lindsey graduated from Edison High School, Mt. Vernon, New York in 1965. After his graduation he enlisted into the United States Air Force, where he served with the Military Police. Following his Honorable Discharge, he began a career with the United States Postal Service and later started his own chauffeur business, which he operated until his passing.

Lindsey was of the Baptist Faith and attended Unity Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memories are sons: Dervin of Waynesboro, Va., Desmond and Derrick of the Bronx, NY, Dushon (Mary) of Pocanos, PA and Jahel also of the Bronx, NY; a special friend: Jannette Santos of the Bronx, NY; four sisters: Frances F. Brown (Rovester) of Mebane, NC, Loretta F. Bunch and Lena F. Bailey of Durham, NC, Nanna Mae F. Jackson (Ronnie) of Lake City, FL; a brother James Foster also of Durham, NC as well as host of nieces and nephews other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Willie Edward Foster and Charles Elton Foster.

He will be deeply missed and his love and commitment to his family will be hard to replace.
