Rev. Abijah Peck was a Revolutionary War soldier and the son of John who was the son of Samuel Peck Jr, son of Samuel, son of Rev Jeremiah, son of William born in England in 1601. William immigrated here in 1637 and was a founder of New Haven in 1638. Abijah was a brother of Abigail Peck Bard. He became the pastor of the Clifton Park Baptist church. He married Mindwell Close first and Lydia Montgomery, former wife of Elias Montgomery second. He lived to 91 yrs. and is buried in section C08. See also, Descendants of Joseph Peck book p. 390-392, although this is another Peck line.
