Lee Ray Taylor, age 81, formerly of Redgranite, died peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro, TX.

He was born April 10, 1938, in Redgranite, the son of Donald and Ada Malnory Taylor. Lee was a 1956 graduate of Berlin High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of family and enjoyment of the outdoors.

Lee is survived by his daughter, Charity; sons, Paul (Carol), Ronald (Karen), Donald (Judy), Louis (Annette) and Lee; stepson, Casey (Katie); brothers, Rex (Karen) & Don (Cheryl); many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and friends. His granddaughter, Delaney felt lucky to have grown up with her grampa for the last 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Debra Jo and Constance; and sisters, Donna Lou Wisniewski and Rose Hobbs.

A special thank you to his former wife, Linda Taylor, for caring for him during his last year of life.

Private family graveside services with military honors will be held at Shead Island Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel of Berlin.
