Peggy Ann Trent Waters, 38 years old of Ekron, Kentucky died Tuesday, February 17, 1987 at Ireland Army Hospital, Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Hardin County Coroner Dr. William Lee said an autopsy revealed no anatomical cause of death and that microscopic studies had not been completed Monday.

Mrs. Waters was a member of Bethel Methodist Church, was a coach for the church softball team and a coach for the Rebels of the Meade Olin Girls Softball League. She was a Meade County High School band booster and a loyal fan of the Lady Waves for whom her daughter, Michelle Waters plays guard.

Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her father, Dewayne Trent in 1983 and a brother John Trent in 1979.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Waters; four children, Denise, Michelle, Jamie and Nick waters all of home; her mother, Mrs. Mary Catherine Trent of Brandenburg; a sister, Mrs. Brenda Hampton of Irvington; two brothers, Jerry Trent of Irvington and Steve Trent of Brandenburg.

Funeral services were conducted at Bethel United Methodist Church by Rev. David Waddle and Rev. Mark Benton, with burial in the church cemetery directed by Hager Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers were the Lady Waves. Active pallbearers were: Garry Hicks, Carl Blair, Robert Miller, Ray Thomas, Bruce Jones and Kevin Quiggins.
