LINDEN, Texas-Elmer Wayne O'Rand, 68, of Big Sandy, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at his home.
Mr. O'Rand was born May 16, 1934, in Linden. He was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joann O'Rand of Big Sandy; two sons, Billy O'Rand of Texarkana, Ark., and Corey O'Rand of Linden; three daughters, Debbie Hamilton of Linden, Donna Baker of Jefferson, Texas, and Vicki Penny of Tyler, Texas; one brother, Pat O'Rand of Linden; one sister, Alline Bennett of Charlestown, W.V.; his motherin-law, Inez Henderson of Linden; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery under direction of Haaland Family Funeral Home.
