Shirley was a very loving wife, mother and grandma. She always tried to please and make everyone happy. She had many occupations. She loved to cook and fish. But the things she loved most was taking care of children. Shirley was not only a mother to her kids, she was a second mom to many. Shirley had a beautiful soul. She always had a smile on her face. Her family and friends will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd Endsley and Ada Lee Brewer (Endsley); two brothers; and four sisters. She is survived by her husband, Willie C. Hardin; sons, Willie C. Harden III, Johnny A. Hardin (Michelle), and Willie Lee Hardin ( Judy); daughter, Mondora Hardin; sisters, Vera McClure and Ellen Mayle of Ohio; 28 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A viewing for Shirley will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, at Ideal Baptist Church on 203 Elm Street in Farmington. A burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
