She started her career at St. Ann’s, SLC, St. Mark’s Boise, and Sacred Heart Idaho Falls. After her path of teaching she went back to Weber State University finishing her degree and became top of her class and later becoming a professor there. Coming back to Boise, she began as a sale rep, for forklifts, later sales Warner Lambert for 14 years where she retired.
Preceded in death by her son Russell Chivers. Survived by husband, Raymond Chivers; daughter, Pamela Chivers; son, Spencer Chivers; grandson, Trevor Chivers; granddaughter, Sabrina Chivers.
