Minnie O. Lewis, formerly of the Wilson Theater Apts., died Monday at 11:30 p.m. at the Laine Convalescent Home, Altoona, after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 13, 1881 at Bald Eagle, a daughter of James and Anna Sessaman McCoy. On June 30, 1903 at Tyrone she was married to Walter W. Lewis. He died Feb. 12, 1941.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Gilbert (Sarah) Lighty, of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Tyrone First Methodist Church and a former treasurer of the Bald Eagle Cemetery Association.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Graham & Getz Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. Robert M. Vowler. Burial will be in Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 P.m. on Wednesday and until time of service.
