Mr. Fields was born on July 9, 1931 in the Draketown Community of Haralson County, Georgia to Mr. William Robert Fields and Mrs. Bessie (Camp) Fields. He was married to Mrs. Brenda Fields for 47 years. He was a carpenter by trade and was the owner and operator of Edward Fields Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Robert (Bessie) Fields and his 12 siblings.
Mr. Fields is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Fields; his daughter, Diane Willingham; his sons, Dennis Fields (Connie), Kenneth Fields (Lori), Corey Fields (Deborah) and Shane Fields (Shelly); his grandchildren, Kim Lee (Steve), Karen Freeman (Tommy), Amy Economopoulos (Andreas), Wesley Fields (Kelli), Jeremiah Fields (Tiffany), Autumn Blan (Jonathan), Brandon Fields (Amber), Courtney Ferrell (Trystan), Dustin Fields, Morgan Fields and Rylan Fields; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.
A private family-only graveside service for Mr. Fields will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020 4:00PM at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dwayne Hewett and Rev. Larry Parrish officiating.
There will be no public visitation for Mr. Fields at Benson Funeral Home.
