Paul DeWitt Simpson, age 83 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Simpson will be conducted on Friday, November 12th at 3PM in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Less Funderberg officiating. Interment will follow in Mason Hall Cemetery in Mason Hall, Tennessee.

He was born July 12, 1938 in Monica Ill.; the son of the late Benjamin and Rose Widger Simpson. He was employed by Caterpillar until his retirement.

He is survived by three daughters, Debra Bednar, Paula Myers, Rena Jackson, two sons, Paul David Simpson, Tony Simpson and two step daughters Teresa French (Rick), Cheryl Rouleau (Rodney), thirty eight grandchildren, ninety eight great – grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Lela Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Sandra Simpson, sonJeffrey Simpson, step son Scott Simpson, two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and thirteen siblings.

The family will receive friends from 1-3PM on Friday, November 12th at the Kenton Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home . Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Paul DeWitt Simpson.
