Bertha Louise McAbee Ratliff Jones passed from this life at the age of 99 on Sunday, Dec. 22 at the Grenich Care Home in Bunker Hill, where she resided for the past few months.
Bertha was born Feb. 2, 1920 in Salida, Colorado to Scott D. McAbee and Mary Josephine Jones.
She was predeceased by her brother Russell M McAbee, first husband Carl Ratliff, husband Hersel S. Jones, a son Donald D. Ratliff and a daughter Judith Elaine Jones Walsh.
She is survived by a daughter Margaret Ann Ratliff Schulke of Fort Myers, Florida, five Grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
A grave side ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday December 30th at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Gerrardstown, WV
