Ethel Rae Lawrence, 82, of Little Rock, AR, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020. She was born November 12, 1937 to the late Elvin and Ruby (Neal) Warner in Jonesville, LA. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Carroll E. Lawrence and her daughter, Brenda Gail Lawrence.

Ethel was a member of Highland Valley Methodist Church and was a member of the Daughters of the Nile Mat-Ta-Nah Temple No. 136. She was also an active member of the Sigma Alpha Sorority, the Little Rock Rockettes and Billie's Fillies Dance Groups, the Red Hat Society, the Daughters of the Confederacy, the Welcome Wagon, and her Bridge Club.

Ethel retired from State Farm Insurance Company in 1998 after 25 years of service as a Senior Claims Specialist.

Ethel loved travel and adventure having lived in 6 states during her lifetime and traveled to most of the other 44 states, the Pacific, South America, Canada, and Europe.

Ethel is survived by her children: David Lawrence-Kuehn (Alan) of Yarmouth Port, MA, Kelly Douglas of Rock Mount NC, and Gene Lawrence (Susie) of Union Grove, AL; grandchildren: Michelle Tice (Tedd), Nichole Douglas, Josh Douglas (Jennifer), Bradley Moore (Crystal), Kayla Lawrence, and Taylor Lawrence (Tiffany); and great-grandchildren: Isaiah and Keagan Douglas, Kylie and Peyton Smith, Royal, Brooklyn, and Teagan Tice, Erica and Ramsey Moore, Ellie Rae Lawrence and Bryce Smith.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 21, 2020 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211. Burial to follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607.
