“Funeral Tomorrow for ASU Student”

Robert William Clark Bucklin, 20, Morenci, junior in Arizona State University, died yesterday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He had been ill a week.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in Memory Chapel, A.L. Moore and sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. The Rev. George W. Cole will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Mr. Bucklin was born in Pratt, Kan. He came to Morenci 10 years ago and was graduated from Morenci High School in 1953.

During his senior year in high school, he took part in the annual oratorical contest on the constitution as representative from his district. He was chief photographer during his high school days for the Morenci High School annual. He was an honor student and a student Rotarian.

Mr. Bucklin had been assistant manager of the Mesa Theater in Mesa. During the past year and a half, he has been associated with the Paramount Theater in Phoenix, working after school hours. He was and advance air student in the ROTC at Arizona State. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. N. Elizabeth Bucklin of Morenci, and his father, David William Bucklin of Pratt, Kan.
