Obituary for Stephen Wayne Price
Stephen W. Price, 63, of Spotsylvania County, formerly of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.
Steve was an accomplished consultant for major corporations. He was an Eagle Scout and in his spare time, he volunteered as an adult Boy Scout leader. Steve also enjoyed many hobbies. He loved to do anything outdoors, including homesteading, golfing, playing tennis, canoeing, gardening and camping. Steve loved to spend time at the beach, especially visiting Turks and Caicos with his wife. He loved animals and raised turkeys, chickens, and ducks. Steve treasured his rescue dogs. He was a music enthusiast and enjoyed playing trumpet and piano. Steve was a lifetime member of the NRA. He loved spending time with his grandkids and was a wonderful grandfather. Steve will be truly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Johanna; his children, Alexander Price, and his wife, Kimberly, Andrew Price, Julia Neville, and her husband, Robert, Marissa Cuccia, and Samantha Sampieri, and her husband, L.J.; two grandchildren, Evelynn and Gwendolyn Neville; and other loving extended family and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Irene Price.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
