Delores Florice Hamilton, left us peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017 to be with her "Heavenly Father". She was preceded in death by her mother, Irma Thompson and father Seafus Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Alfred (Tina) and Christopher Hamilton. Two siblings, Alfred (Edna) and Clarence (Earline) Harrell. Two grandchildren, Cameron and Nina Hamilton, Three nieces, Two nephews, and two great nieces and four great nephews. Relatives and friends of the family also pastor, officers and members of Israelite Baptist Church, Staff of Total Community Action (TCA), and Tulane Hospital, are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Services for Sister Delores on Saturday November 11, 2017 for 10:00 a.m. at Israelite Baptist Church 2100 Martin Luther King Blvd. Rev. Emanuel Smith officiating. Visitation from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.time of service. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery 8200 Airline Dr. Metairie, La. 70003.
