Sandy Renee Berry, age 40, of Lenoir, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Blue Ridge Healthcare of Morganton. She was born January 23, 1980, daughter of Brenda Coffey of Laytown and Alan (Janet) Berry of Connelly Springs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dad, Stephen Coffey, her maternal grandparents, Dewey and Kaye Frances Cannon, paternal grandmother, Shirley Brittain Berry; uncle, Kin Carnett as well as two cousins, Robert Dewey and Chasity Elliott.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Hunter Berry-Deyton and her fiancé, William Deyton; a brother, Jacob and wife Norma Coffey; her paternal grandfather, Fred Berry; special aunts, Cathy (Anthony) Elliott, Christi (Officer Olan) Tolbert, Officer Lorrie Dean, Tracy Watson and Dean Carnett; special uncle Wade Cannon and cousins, Kenneth Elliott, Jonathan Elliott, David Dewey, Victoria Dean, Pvt.Olivia Dean MP and Dustin Tolbert.

Services for Sandy will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Laytown Baptist Church in Lenoir and officiated by Rev. Steve Coonse.

Considering the restrictions with COVID-19, the family will have a service for immediate family only. The family wishes to express their love for each friend and family member and would instead of your attendance accept phone calls, texts, cards and personal visits.
