Edith Adams Fox, of Greensboro NC, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. She grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy Adams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Edward Fox, who passed away in 2008. Bobbie married Wallace in 1955 at the Philadelphia Naval Yard. She met him while volunteering at the USO. After her husband retired from the Marine Corps, they settled in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, where they raised three children.
Bobbie attended the Bryn Mawr School of Respiratory Therapy in 1971. She was a member of the Saint George Episcopalian Church in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. In 1985, Bobbie & Wallace moved to Otto, North Carolina. Bobbie volunteered with the Macon County Hospice, was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Franklin and volunteered with community services. She enjoyed art, classical music, working in her garden, sewing and helping others.
After her husband's passing, Bobbie moved to Greensboro in 2011 to be near her daughter, Barbara Ramey and family.
A memorial will be held in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania in early spring.
