Clyde W. Bartholomew, 86, of Iola, Kansas, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at Allen County Hospital in Iola.
He was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Chanute, Kansas, to Samuel Dean and Etta Mae (Huffman) Bartholomew.
He was World War II veteran of the 2009th Army Air Force Ordinance Maintenance Company where he served as a staff sergeant.
On Sept. 2, 1946, he was married to Olla Belle Noggle.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherrie Ganzer, Iola, KS; a brother, Ernest Bartholomew, Garfield, AR; a granddaughter, Christine Morgan, Iola, KS; a grandson, Brian Morgan, Moran, KS; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His wife, Olla Belle, sister, Ruth Gregg, and brothers, Chauncey Dean, Lester Dale, Edgar, Edwin, Richard and Donald, died earlier.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
