Esther Mary (Sheaffer) Beaverson, 74, of 660 Boas St., died Tuesday at Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg. She was the wife of the late Ervin Eugene Beaverson.
The service will be 8 p.m. today at First Church of the Nazarene, 16th and Brandt Avenue, New Cumberland. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday in Cleversburg Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, 16th and Brandt Avenue, New Cumberland, 17070. The Gilbert W. Parthemore Funeral Home Inc., 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Beaverson was born in Southampton Township, Franklin County. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Edward and Tressie M. (Varner) Sheaffer.
She was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, New Cumberland.
Mrs. Beaverson is survived by a son, James K. Beaverson of Carlisle; a daughter, Delores A. Shaffer of New Cumberland; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ida L. Elicker and Sarah A. Sheaffer, both of Shippensburg; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Steven R. Grosvenor. 08-27-91
