Charles “Buck” Smith, age 81 of Morganfield, KY departed this life Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was born April 21, 1938 to the late Franklin and Katheryn Smith of Waverly, KY.
Charles was an Air Force veteran and after his honorable discharge he worked at the Earl C. Clements Job Corps Center. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Waverly, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Ben Joseph; sister Georgia Ann; granddaughter Kathrine London.
Survivors include his wife Jean Smith of Morganfield, Son Charles Smith, Jr. of Atlanta, GA , Sisters Rita Bowmen of Louisville, KY, Pauline Dixon of Corydon, KY, brothers Jimmy Smith of Morganfield, Joseph Smith of Louisville, KY
