Buddy met the love of his life, Nancy, in 1962. She went on to introduce him to the word of God and he was baptized into Christ, August 1st, 1963 at New Hope Church of Christ. He was a skilled electrician and spent most of his working days in different commercial plants. Buddy was a traveler. He spent a lot of his early days working all over the southeast, and he was widely known for his love of playing Tonk for pennies. With his wife and family, Buddy opened a western store in New Hope, Buddy’s Western Wear, where his love of western apparel was able to shine through. He enjoyed going to the Smokey Mountains with family, wood working, raising chickens and gardening at his home. Buddy was a longtime member of Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Visa Lee Hutto Harris, Father, Clarence Oral Harris, Sr. (Virginia), Brother, Larry Harris, and Father-in-Law, Hubbard Frank Bridges.
