Ms. Jackie Cris Ward, 45, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday morning, March 31, 2020 in the comfort of her home with her mother by her side.

Jackie was born on October 30, 1974 in Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her dad, Elisha Finley Ward; and her grandparents, Carlton and Sylvia Carter.

She was a 1992 graduate of Brainerd High School and had been employed by Mori Luggage and Gifts for over twenty-five years where she was most recently manager. Jackie was a very creative young lady who enjoyed crafting her own jewelry and greeting cards. She loved reading a good mystery novel. She was a huge fan of Olive Garden restaurant, loved her sushi, and her favorite desert tiramisu. Jackie was a loving daughter and niece. Her mother will always remember their trips to Gatlinburg every year on Mother’s Day. Jackie maintained a good professional demeanor at work. She was a member of the former Central Presbyterian Church where for many years she was a Sunday School Teacher.

Jackie is survived by her loving mother, Crystal Ward; her aunt, Carole Carter both of Chattanooga; uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. CL Boyd of Harrison, Tennessee; and her beloved savannah cat, Stormy Thomas.
