Florence Mae Morgan, age 79, of Mills River, passed away March 30, 2020.

She was born in Barrington, NJ on March 5, 1941 to the late Nelson and Elizabeth Anna Morgan.

Florence had also lived in Burnsville but most recently in Mills River.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Morgan.

Florence's passion was her pets and all animals. She also enjoyed dancing and shopping. Florence will be remembered as always helping others and had a penchant for the underdog.

Surviving is her life partner, Tommy Franklin; loving mother to two adopted sons: Matthew DiCristino and wife, Charlene and Zachary "Zack" DiCristino; grandchildren: Zachary Markus DiCristino (Shayna), and Victoria Mariah DiCristino and great-granddaughter, Alice Arrington.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4th in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery in Mills River.
