I was born 25 February 1972 to the precious Ruthie B. Matthews in Cleveland, MS. My Christian walk began as a child at Apostolic Faith Church where I was baptized in Jesus' name by the late Bishop Longino Davis according to Acts 2:38. My growth and walk with Christ continued under the leadership of Pastor Terry Jones.

I was a student at B. L. Bell Bulldogs in Boyle, MS and Nailor Elementary School in Cleveland, MS. I attended Eastwood Jr. High School for middle school and was a proud student at East Side High Trojans where I played football for short period of time.

In 1994, I married the beautiful Temecca Walker. We shared six children together.

I was proceeded in death by my mother, Ruthie Matthews; my sister, Bernice Matthews; my grandmothers, Caldonia Matthews and Lena Williams; and my son, Cordarious "Buck-Eye" Walker. On 17 January 2020, I departed this earthly home at 11:00 a.m. at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

My memories shall live on in the lives of my beloved wife, Temecca Matthews of Cleveland, MS; two sons, Zachary Walker of Myersville, MS and Jamarcus Walker of Boyle, MS; three daughters, Shaquavious Walker and K'April Walker both of Cleveland, MS, and Sonja Wilson of Boyle, MS; two sisters, Veronica Matthews of Cleveland, MS and De'Contessa Williams of Chicago, IL; and two brothers, Michael Matthews of Memphis, TN, and James Williams of Chicago, IL.

Funeral: Vernon Memorial Apostolic Church, Cleveland, MS.
Interment: Delta Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, MS.
