RACHEL EVELYN THOMASON BROOKS
Rachel passed on March 28, 2020, in hospice care. She is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Luther, who passed in 2003. Rachel was also predeceased by her oldest son, Billy Brooks. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth, Paul and Larry, and a daughter, Myrna Bopp, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Rachel and her husband had a large circle of family and friends. They traveled often throughout the U.S. They were avid dancers, and were active in square dance clubs in the San Joaquin Valley, in California and the Southwest. She worked for many years at election polling sites.
"Rachel is much loved by her family for her kindness and will be much missed."
Services at Lisle Funeral Home will be private, as will burial at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
