Clarence Eugene Brooks, 77, of Creedmoor, died Sunday, March 29, 2020. Born in Person County, he was the son of the late Frazier Oliver Brooks and Mildred Katherine Groves Brooks. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three brothers: Donald Edwin Brooks, Billy James Brooks and Danny Francis Brooks and his sister, Sylvia Yvonne Brooks Nelson.

Mr. Brooks served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a retired private security guard. Mr. Brooks attended Living Waters Christian Community Pentecostal Church in Durham.

Surviving are his four children: Susan Gail Brooks, Beverly Jean Brooks, Benjamin Clarence Brooks and Danny Edwin Brooks and his one brother, Charles Frazier Brooks.

Memorial graveside service will be held 2 PM Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Person Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Lamm officiating.

Due to the Executive Order regarding the COVID-19, the attendance will be limited to 50 people.
