He was a self-employed craftsman who enjoyed refinishing and building furniture and was a caring and loving person. His customers praised his work and always returned to him. He continued working until he was 82 years old. Donald also enjoyed gardening. He was a member of New Columbus Baptist Church in Owen County. He is survived by a sister, Lela J. (Bob) Hughes, three nephews and one niece. A memorial service will be held at a later date
