Robert “Bob” Melrose, age 69, has risen to glory on March 30, 2020. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rainy, of 50 years. He was father and friend to his son, Christopher, and daughter-in-law, Angela. His granddaughters, Kamryn and Bella were cherished and very much loved by him. He also has a brother; Charles Melrose, sister-in-law, Debby Johnson; and a niece, Michelle Johns. Three years ago Bob was diagnosed with cancer. He always had a smile on his face and never quit fighting. Bob was someone who made friends easily, loved people, and always saw the good side of things. Special thanks to his church family, neighbors, and friends for their support throughout his journey. Private family services will be held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. with private burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
