Berniece Frances Griffin-Glenn was born in Brady, Oklahoma in Garvin County on November 8, 1920 to Mr. W.L. Glenn and Mrs. Barbara Glenn-Mears. Frances passed on March 31, 2020 at 7:40 a.m. at the Jan Francis Nursing Home. Walton Ray “Jack” Griffin and Frances were married on 10/14/1944. Jack passed away on July 15, 2007. Jack and Frances have four children. Son Ray Keith Griffin of Buhl Idaho, Son William “Bill” Griffin of Allen Oklahoma, Daughter Patsy Milburn-Griffin who preceded her parents in death in 2003, and daughter Brenda Manual-Griffin of Abilene Texas. Other survivors include many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren too numerous to count. Frances has always been one of the strongest, most loyal, humble Christian women. She is a light to all that have never believed in Christ, and now she soars with the angels on high. I will end this with one of her favorite Bible verses:

“BE HUMBLE
and never think you are better then anyone else, for dust you are and dust you shall return”

She is now in Gods arms and no longer needs this worldly body. She is smiling at the sight of her rewards.

ATTENTION:
Our family would like to apologize in advance to anyone who would like to attend my grandmother’s funeral but they are ONLY allowing immediate family members due to the COVID 19 virus. We realize she has so many that love her and love our family. We appreciate your love and support. Please for the safety of our family and yours, stay home. She wouldn’t want anyone to get sick at her funeral and neither does our family. God Bless and Thank you for understanding. Rest In Peace Granny Frances!

Graveside services are scheduled at the Elmore City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
