ERVIN WILKER
(1910 - 1941)

Messages received at Two Rivers today told of the death at San Leandano, Calif., Sunday of Ervin Walker, 30, former resident of that city. He had been a patient at the west coast hospital for two weeks.

It is understood that the body will be brought to his native home for burial.

Mr. Wilker was born at Two Rivers Aug. 13, 1910, a son of the late John and Mrs. Wilker. He resided there up to three years ago, being employed at the Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co., and the Hamilton Mfg. Co., for a number of years after attending Washington High school. He was single. Since his residence in California he had been a hotel attendant in Oakland, Calif., a short distance from San Leandano.

Surviving are his mother, a sister, Mrs. Ben Rahmlow, town of Two Rivers, and four brothers, Victor of Milwaukee, and Henry, John and Paul Wilker, all of Two Rivers.

Committal services for Ervin Wilker, 30, who died in San Leandano, Cal., May 18, were held at Pioneers’ Rest Cemetery at Two Rivers late yesterday afternoon, the Rev. F. E. Schlueter officiating. The body was cremated in California and the ashes were sent to Two Rivers.

Regular funeral services were held at the Jansky Funeral home last Saturday at 4 pm with the Rev. Mr. Schlueter officiating.
