Walter Monroe Pierce (Dubb) age 78, passed away October 1, 2017 at Glen Oaks Nursing Home, Lucedale Ms.
He was born October 27, 1938 to Albert Pierce and Jory Tanner. He was a loving father to his children and loved fishing, hunting and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Lloyd, Alton and Calvin Pierce, two sisters Melanise Gartman, Wuniece Davis, and grandson Brandon Pierce.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Terry and Robbie Pierce and two daughters, Becky Khroll and Debbie Evans. Three sisters, Joann Reed, Francis Cecchi and Willene Clark; one brother Franklin Pierce; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be October 4, 2017 at 10am -12 pm. at the Cowan Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will follow at 12:00 noon. Officiating Rev. Donnie Williamson.
Interment: Howell Baptist Church Cemetery in Howell Community.
